We are full and need to find a home ASAP for Godfrey, an FIV+, TKC alum who's owner had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender due to life-altering circumstances. As with all our adopted cats, we ask that we are contacted as the first option for rehoming. We are at max capacity and urgently need your help locating a home. Do you know someone who could foster? looking to adopt? Godfrey is a truly amazing, big, fluffy, long-haired, kitty who originally arrived at TKC from a reservation and a home filled with cats. Bonus! he gets along with dogs. 🐶 The 411 on FIV+ cats: Cats can and do live long, happy lives with FIV, and they can even safely live in homes with FIV negative cats so long as everyone is spayed and neutered and coexisting peacefully. Sadly, most shelters simply euthanize FIV+ cats. Fancy has also made it known that wet food is her favorite thing in the world, besides Fancy Feast salmon filets of course. Fancy is very inquisitive and likes other cats. 😻 NEW ARRIVAL😻 Or almost. Gabby will be arr 😻 NEW ARRIVAL😻 Or almost. Gabby will be arriving on Saturday!!! ⁠ Gabby is a 1.5 yr old old grey and white female with the most adorable white tip on her tail. She is very friendly and enjoys attention often rubbing up against you looking for love. She is still quite playful and loves to bat at hanging balls. She also enjoys quiet times chilling in a cat tree looking out the window. While she is very friendly with people, she tends to be more selective with other cats, unsure on dogs as there were not any in her foster home... we are still slowly working to learn more about how she is around others, we do feel she could learn to accept another cat with slow introduction, foster homes can we a little overwhelming for them sometimes as they try to adjust to multiple new cats.
