Meet Aiden โ€“ a cat deemed 'unadoptable' and discarded by other rescues ๐ŸŒธ In his forever familyโ€™s words: โ€œAiden is home now. We chose to let him show us how much love he had to offer, and he blossomed over time, repaying us with his love and trust. He has never looked back. Aiden will always be a little quirky, but to us, some of our closest friends, and even our dog, he is the most loving cat you could ever meet. There is no better example of the love a wallflower has to offer, and we couldn't love him more! THIS is why I have chosen to be a foster for TKC's wallflowers program. In rescue, medical situations are a daily reality. In rescue, medical situations are a daily reality. We handle normal minor issues, but also face tough situations that challenge not only us but the incredible vets we work with. From major orthopedic surgeries to broken jaws, we've seen it all. Yet, one of the hardest challenges is dealing with kittens born with internal congenital defects, and Chloe is one of them. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ ๐Ÿ’ž Meet Chloe. From the start, it was evident something wasn't right - her bottom was always wet, and she dribbled urine. Chloe has been examined by multiple specialty vets at including those at the University of Minnesota, and Animal Emergency & Referral Center. Due to her size, diagnostics have been extremely difficult and limited. We're thousands of dollars in and still working on answers. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ We hoped Chloe would grow enough to allow us to scope her urinary tract. Two years later, Chloe is fully grown, weighing in under 5lbs. It's been a challenging and frustrating journey, managing infections, constant bedding changes, and protecting furniture for her comfort. Despite our efforts, we still don't know her long-term outcome. Without the support of generous individuals like you, we wouldn't have made it this far.
